Quantitative data collected was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings indicated that career development (β1 = 0.327, P = .041) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance the Aga Khan University Hospital. The study concluded that career development positively and significantly affects employee performance at the Aga Khan University Hospital. As such, this study recommends the need for the Aga Khan University Hospital management to strengthen career development as a non-financial incentive.
